I’m Carina Booker and I run personal venue finding service, Booker Venue. Building on just under 30 years’ experience in the hospitality industry working for top hotels, taking care of people and event details is second nature to me.
My welcoming, friendly Sicilian background and upbringing means that building relationships is my strength and I’ll aim to be an extension of your team while taking the pressure off and doing the legwork for you.
I know what it takes to organise a successful event and I love seeing a vision for a conference, meeting, special occasion or celebration go to plan. My experience in hotels and venues means I understand events from both sides which is a huge asset and very rare for a venue finder to have.
I want to be honest and upfront about the process of finding and booking a venue and aim to find the ideal venue for your event without being swayed by incentives. If you have any questions at all, no matter how small, please ask.
It was a passion for me to start my own business and almost 5 years on, I can honestly say (that apart from the small covid blip) that I have loved and continue to love every single moment!
I do all this for my family. I have been married to Ben for almost 20 years and we have 2 amazing teenage daughters, hopefully one day, they may join me on this journey but until then I will introduce you the other member of my team, head of security and all-round great office companion – Luna The Shorkiepoo!!!
